'Water For Peace'
27th Feb 2024
Water is precious.
Everyone, all over the world, needs water.
We need water to drink, to grow food, to clean ourselves, to wash our clothes, to run factories and for so
many other things. Clean water is essential for keeping people healthy and reducing the spread of disease.
Without access to clean drinking water, communities suffer and become stuck in a cycle of poverty.
As part of a Green Schools Initiative, sixth class took part in a poster competition creating awareness about the water for peace campaign.
The aim of the poster competition is for individual students to design an A3 poster which best illustrates the theme: Water for Peace.
Well done to sixth class for putting in an excellent effort and we cannot wait to hear back from Green Schools about our posters.
