Senior Hurling Update
Our Senior hurling team has played two games so far with one more group game left to play.
Their first game was away to Sacred Heart Ballygall. They played this match in Erin’s Isles GAA club, a fantastic grass pitch. They were lucky to be playing on grass with so much rain in previous weeks. They trailed the entire game but some how, clawed their way back into the game in the final two minutes. Two fantastic goals saw them get over the line.
Our next game was away to Killester. They played on the Astro in St Anne’s Park. A pitch the boys had played on before. What we did the week before, winning in the last few minutes, Kilester managed to do to us. We fell short by a point on the day.
Our final game is against, Scoil an tSeachtar Laoch in the coming few weeks.
On a final note, everyone in St Marnocks School would like to wish 6th class student Ethan Ryan, a full and speedy recovery with his injury. Ethan is a standout player in St Marnocks School and holds pride in his Sylvester’s Jersey in a Portmarnock school.
Thanks again to all of the parents who are helping out with giving lifts to and from the game.
