They completed an experiment exploring spreading weight over a surface area.
The idea of the experiment was to test how many people could stand on the surface area of a table while the table balanced on balloons.
The class had great fun and got 4 people on without the balloons bursting.
6th class are also building bridges this week at home. They will bring them in on Friday to give them the ultimate test. The bridge will have to span a gap of 40cm and hold up a bag of sugar. We can't wait to see the designs.
