In Ms Monahan’s 3rd class, we had spent the past few weeks working on our volcanoes with Ms Brady. First we got into our groups and started to create our volcanoes using bottles, cardboard and newspaper. Then we glued regular paper onto it and let it dry before we painted them. Once the paint had dried, we then got ready for our experiment. First we separated out all our items. We had a two cups of vinegar mixed with red food dye and a separate cup filled with baking soda. Once outside on the grass (and away from the classroom!!), we got set up. The experiment was such a great success and we all had so much fun!
