We’ve started off the New Year with a shoe tying challenge in room 13! Any of the children who were unable to tie their own laces were challenged to learn how to tie them. There has been a lot of practice and knots as a result! It’s really great to see the experts helping their friends and 1st class children developing a lifelong skill.
The class has also been working hard on their arctic animal projects. We became familiar with arctic animals and their habitats and following on from this the children chose their favourite animal. They’ve carried out research using books and websites during their iPad time and they designed a poster to display their project work. We also made arctic foxes in art.
