Mr. Maughan's class have started an eight week running programme called Marathon kids. The children will build up their distance each week and after eight weeks will have run distance (42km). It is a great way to promote a healthy lifestyle and good habits.
The programme is being sponsored by Fingal County Council in conjunction with Dublin City Marathon and Irish Life. The children each got a running top and this morning we did our 800m wearing the tops.
