Well done to the junior boys football team who again won in a tight game today against St Fiachras NS.
The boys started out with a good first half. We were great all throughout but the our back line were incredibly solid all throughout.
With pretty much the entire team changing at half time it was like starting a new game. But once again, the lads were fantastic. They powered through the second half and once again defended with great passion and pride.
A massive shout out to Alex Kelly. Alex who scored in last weeks shootout with Belgrove, found himself in the heart of the St Marnocks back line. During the second half, he put in a heroic block to stop a shot from the Fiachras attacker! Alex stopped a shot of such power, it managed to brake his arm! He’s a true warrior!!
