This week in first class we have been learning about houses and homes. The children have been discussing the different types of houses that they live in or have spotted out and about in their local environment. We then compared some older houses with modern constructions. The children chatted about the changes that they noticed both inside and outside of the house and shared their observations back to the class. On Wednesday afternoon we had a great time building a house of our choice. We had house types ranging from caravans, to bungalows, to detached and semi- detached. Well done on Ms Lynch’s boys and girls on their fantastic learning this week, and the excellent teamwork shown during the activity.
