After training on Wednesday mornings with Ms Flynn and Mr Barnes during the year, the girls in 6th class played their first basketball game against Bayside SNS on Monday 27th May.
The girls played brilliant during the game. Narrowly missing out on the win, they had some great baskets and displayed a number of skills throughout the game. Their enthusiasm and team spirit were brilliant and they were a credit to the school.
Many thanks to our brilliant caretaker Paddy, who helped organise the game with his connections in Bayside SNS. We would like to thank the parents for help with the lifts on the day. We would also like to that the Athletics team for lending out their singlets for the basketball game.
