All three 1st Classes in St. Marnock’s were so lucky to be selected to attend a Fighting Words workshop this term.
The facilitators were amazing but so were the boys and girls from St. Marnock’s! Everyone used their imagination, creativity, motivation and ideas, and working together they came up with great stories. Ms. O’Dowd’s class wrote a story called Piggy, The Flying Pig.
The workshops were a great recap on narrative in English writing - we have already learned about characters, settings and plots. We also know what authors, illustrators and editors do for their work!
