Festival of Hurling and Camogie

22nd May 2024

St Marnocks would like to extend a massive thank you to Gaelscoil Míde, Cill Bharróg for taking part in a festival of hurling and camogie.

On the day, both schools had children from 3rd, 4th and 5th class. Some children who had never held a hurl before got the chance to play.

Luckily in Naomh Mearnóg, we were able to play on back to back pitches with both junior camogie and hurling throwing in at the same time. A massive thanks to the ground staff in Naomh Mearnóg for always supplying us with pitches when we need them.

Thankfully the Marnocks boys and girls came out on top on the day. This lead to the junior boys winning the Boys Go Games North League. A massive well done to the lads!

The girls have 2 more fixtures to play in the Girls Go Games. Thank you to CnmB for supplying the first ever Junior Girls Camogie Competition in Dublin. A massive plus for Dublin Camogie and Hurling.
