Confirmation class update.

Visit from the Legion of Mary 

This week 6th class received a visit from Members of the legion of Mary. We learned many historical and religious facts about the Virgin Mary. The children each received a miraculous medal and rosary beads with well wishes and prayers from Pope Francis. Many thanks to ex Dublin footballer Ger Brennan and John Hughes for providing such a brilliant lesson.   

Planting bulbs in the Parish grounds. 

Last week the children helped out Martin the Gardener on the church ground to plant the bulbs around the trees at the rear and side of the church grounds The boys and girls were learning how to plant the bulbs correctly and managed to plant over 200 bulbs.

We will be awaiting the fruits of our labor in the coming months so keep an eye out!
