Art, Voting and Halloween
Our class was one of 192 classes across the country which recently took part in a Halloween themed guided art workshop. It was a great experience and the boys and girls in Room 13 followed all the instructions and were so focused on creating lovely Halloween haunted houses. The learned to draw using perspective; used warm colours associated with that time of year and they used oil pastels as well to add drama.
Democracy is alive and well in St. Marnock’s N.S. Room 13 boys and girls had their first opportunity to vote in the student elections in school this week. In class we discussed if you could believe all the promises that the candidates made!!
The Halloween costumes were fabulous in Room 13 today! The children and their parents are a creative bunch!
